SPCA Spaghetti Supper

February 6, 2011

You will not want to miss what has become an annual Carnival favorite, the Dog Show, sponsored by the Susquehanna SPCA. Our “best friends” will strut their finest attire reflecting the Cooperstown Winter Carnival theme Surf, Sun & Snow Saturday, February 12, 12:30 pm at Doubleday Parking Lot. Classes include Best Costume Reflecting the Carnival Theme, Owner Look Alike, Smallest Dog, Largest Dog, Best Singer and Best Trick. Registration, with an entry fee of $1.00, will be conducted on-site and prizes will be awarded at the conclusion. This is as much fun for the cheering spectators as it is for the dogs and their owners.

Top off your day of enjoying the many offerings of the Winter Carnival with the popular Spaghetti Supper to benefit the Susquehanna SPCA. Also on Saturday, the doors at Templeton Hall, 63 Pioneer Street, open promptly at 5 pm with servings available until 8 pm. The all you can eat menu includes spaghetti, with marinara or meat sauce, salad, garlic bread, dessert, coffee and tea. A cash bar is available. Ticket prices are $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for kids ages 6 and under and are available at the door.

The SSPCA serves Otsego County and all proceeds from these events support the many outreach initiatives of the organization. For more information check out their website at or call 547-8111.
