Cooperstown Lions Club Offers Grants

The Lions Club of Cooperstown announces its next round of requests for funds. Twice a year the Lions Club invites not-for-profit organizations to request funds for specific projects that result in the enrichment of the greater Cooperstown community. Funding requests, submitted on the official application, are appropriate for both seed money for new innovative projects/services as well as already established projects to maintain and/or grow. These funds are the result of various community fund raising endeavors conducted by the Lions Club.

Organizations must describe their project, how the money will be utilized. the population served and how the community will benefit. To obtain an application, contact Club president John Rowley at 547-8505 or <strong title="mailto:jd16rowley. Completed applications are due March 1.

The Lions Club of Cooperstown is a dynamic leader in our community and is celebrating 60 years of continuous service in 2010. Their mission is “To empower volunteers to serve
