Enjoy Free Empire State Carousel Rides and More During Opening Weekend at The Farmers’ Museum

COOPERSTOWN, N.Y. (03/24/2011) — The Farmers’ Museum in Cooperstown will celebrate its season re-opening Friday, Saturday and Sunday (April 1-3) with FREE admission for kids 12 & under, FREE rides on The Empire State Carousel, and FREE horse-drawn wagon rides each day.

Bring the whole family anytime between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. to get reacquainted with our friendly barnyard animals and to see the preparations for plantingspring vegetables. Walk through the Historic Village as it wakes up from its winter hibernation and say “hello” to the blacksmith and other craftspeople.

Admission prices for opening weekend – April 1-3: $12.00 (adults13-64); $10.50 (seniors 65 and up); FREE (children 12 and under). NYSHA members are always free.
