Final OCCA “Well Spent Wednesday” Event Is This Week

April 26, 2011

JOIN US FOR WELL SPENT WEDNESDAYS:Please visit OCCA staff and Board members at Alex & Ika Restaurant (Main Street, Cooperstown) on Wednesdays in April as part of the restaurant’s generous “Well Spent Wednesdays” campaign for non-profits. On Wednesday evenings in April, half of the price of every glass of fountain beverages, draft beer and house wines sold will be donated to OCCA. This week, OCCA’s summer programming will be the topic, including water chestnut pulling on Goodyear Lake, the 2011 Nature Walk Series, a dinner on July 8 honoring Susanna and Lou Hager to raise funds toward the continuation of Lake Challenge programs, Lake Appreciation Day on August 13 at Glimmerglass State Park, and more. Proceeds will benefit OCCA, Otsego County’s oldest environmental conservation association, to be put toward programming to protect and preserve the environment. We hope you will join us for casual conversation toward a very good cause!
