Safe Kids & Bike Helmets

Safe Kids of Otsego County will showcase a variety of educational resources aimed at Spring and Summer Safety. These will be offered Tuesdays, May 17 & 24, 7:30 am – 2:00 pm at the Bassett Medical Center, Clinic Lobby, Cooperstown. Featured will be resources to help prevent sports injuries, particularly concussions, along with other Safe Summer tips. There will be information about obtaining bicycle helmets and their on-going plush animal sale to benefit Safe Kids initiatives. Safe Kids of Otsego County works to prevent unintentional childhood injury, the leading cause of death and disability to children ages 1 to 14 and is a member of Safe Kids Worldwide, a global network of organizations dedicated to preventing unintentional injury.
