Leatherstocking Credit Union Scholarship Winners

COOPERSTOWN, NY— The Leatherstocking Region Federal Credit Union is pleased to
announce the 5 college-bound high school seniors who are this year’s recipients of the Credit
Union’s scholarship program. Annually, a total of $2000 is awarded.

This year seventeen applications were judged and those students receiving scholarships are: Victoria
Anania, Samantha Borgstrom and Gregory Brodersen of Cooperstown Central School; and Brianna
J. Fitzpatrick-Allen and Zachariah Clickman of Richfield Springs Central School.

The Credit Union’s philosophy is based on people helping people and welcomes this opportunity
to assist area youth with their educational needs. Students must submit an application along with
a brief essay describing the value of this philosophy. The scholarship is based not only on the
merit of the essay but also the student’s well-roundedness, community and/or school involvement.
Students must be members of the Credit Union to qualify.
