Terry Bliss To Lead OCCA Hooker Mountain Hike

COOPERSTOWN – Terry Bliss will lead a walk on trails in the Hooker Mountain State Forest on Saturday, July 9 at 9 a.m. Participants are asked to meet at the trailhead near the intersection of Hooker Mountain Road and Dog Hill Road, Westford. Those interested may follow Bliss from the parking lot of Jackie’s Restaurant, Milford as he departs at 8:30 a.m. Call (607) 547-4225 for more information.

Since 2001, OCCA has organized and/or co-sponsored nature walks on local trails. Other confirmed dates, venues and hike leaders for 2011 are: August 6, Milford State Forest, Dave Kiehm; August 13, Sleeping Lion Trail at Glimmerglass State Park, park staff; September 10, Betty and Wilbur Davis State Park, Joe Ritton; October 23, The Robert V.
