Children’s Summer Programs at Glimmerglass State Park

Imagine a place where children are invited to – ‘please touch’, ‘smell this’, ‘can you hear?’ ….A place where it’s OK ‘to get a little dirty’. We believe that childhood is a time for discovery, a time to enjoy the many miracles of the natural world: the feel of a snake’s skin, the call of the chorus frogs, and the smell of pine trees.

Glimmerglass State Park is the perfect “outdoor classroom”! Our summer program allows your child to use all of their senses to explore the wonders of the great outdoors through hands-on experiences, games, crafts, stories, songs and much more. Our caring staff has a strong commitment to both the environment and to active learning. Your child’s individual strengths and talents will be nurtured through a wide variety of weekly activities.
