Why does red wine go with red meat?

Whether you’re a seasoned wine connoisseur or just epicurious, you might want to make a reservation for the Thursday, July 28th Sommelier Wine Series #2 at The Otesaga Resort Hotel in Cooperstown. Learn to pair various wines with your menu from The Otesaga’s Beverage Manager and Sommelier Chad Douglass. Enjoy a one hour wine tasting and instruction in The Hotel’s Fenimore Room. Then put your new wine knowledge to work during your delicious multi-course dinner in The Hotel’s Main Dining Room. $65.00 includes the wine tasting, dinner, and coffee or tea. All other dinner beverages are additional. Gentlemen are required to wear jackets. Of course you must be at least 21 years old to participate.
