July 14, 2011

The Cooperstown Summer Music Festival continues tonight at 7:30 pm with a Bastille Day concert at the Otesaga Hotel, featuring Music from Copland House performing Copland (of course!) and French composers (Debussy, Ravel, Poulenc) who inspired him.

Featuring Michael Boriskin, piano; Tim Fain; violin; Wilhelmina Smith, cello; and Linda Chesis, flute. The New York Times describes Music from Copland House as “all exuberance and bright sunshine,” what better way to celebrate Bastille Day!

Tickets will be sold at the door. The Otesaga, 60 Lake Street, Cooperstown, NY. Free parking in lot. More information, http://www.cooperstownmusicfest.org 877/666-7421.
