BREWERY OMMEGANG – FENIMORE ART MUSEUM

The first ever Cooperstown Film Festival launches August 19th and 20th with seven exciting films, special guests, local eats and Belgian-styled ales. Moviegoers will enjoy a unique cinematic experience at the renowned Fenimore Art Museum and under the stars at Brewery Ommegang.

The festival marks a collaboration with The Smithy, Brewery Ommegang, and film festival co-founder and industry veteran Brad Westcott. The Cooperstown Film Festival will present film lovers current and classic celebrated films they would otherwise not have the opportunity to see in our region.

Tickets for the Cooperstown Film Festival can be purchased in advance. Single tickets are $12.00 each per film and $55.00 for a full festival pass (includes all seven films). The tickets are available online beginning August 1st at http://www.cooperstownchamber.com and in person beginning August 5th at The Smithy. The film festival is a rain or shine event.

Cooperstown Film Festival

The first annual Cooperstown Film Festival strives to present the finest in contemporary and classical cinema in the region, generating enthusiasm for filmmaking, film appreciation, and film viewership. Founded by Brad Westcott (Executive Director) and Danielle Newell (General Manager and Executive Director of The Smithy) the festival is presented by local arts organization The Smithy and sponsored by Brewery Ommegang. The CFF will make opportunities available for filmmakers and cinephiles alike, drawing a new industry to Cooperstown. In its inaugural season, moviegoers enjoy a unique cinematic experience at the renowned Fenimore Art Museum and under the stars at Brewery Ommegang.
