Thank you from Cooperstown Summer Music Festival

ECCO leaves to a standing ovation
Though we didn’t know it at the time, the East Coast Chamber Orchestra’s wonderful performance at the Otesaga was our season finale. The Juilliard String Quartet’s performance had to be cancelled due to Irene.

Thank you for being a part of the 13th season of the Cooperstown Summer Music Festival. Festival artists, from the American String Quartet, Flute Fest and Music from Copland House to the National Jazz Museum in Harlem and the Kurt Elling Quartet, received great comments from audience members. In his review of the Boston Comes to Cooperstown concert, critic David Abrams described the Festival as "a blossoming seasonal arts organization that is rapidly shaping into one of the premiere seasonal arts organizations in New York. It’s well worth the trip to experience playing of this caliber."

Thanks to all of you who made the trip, making the Festival part of your summer.

I especially want to thank our volunteers, artist hosts, sponsors, and donors. The Festival would not be possible without their continued generosity.

I welcome your feedback on the season, and your ideas for next season.

Have a wonderful Labor Day weekend.

See you next summer,
