Harvest Festival in Sharon Springs!

September 18, 2011
autumn-winding-road.jpg Summer is almost over! Autumn brings the Harvest Fest to Sharon Springs, oh & foliage too!

It was a busy Summer that sped by too fast! Sadly it ended with the disastrous flooding brought on by Hurricane Irene in our (Schoharie) County as well as surrounding areas. Our hearts and all the help we can all muster to those whose lives were affected and in many nearby communities devastated by the flooding. We’re happy to report that things are slowly getting better, but there is still much work to be done!

Now the weather is turning crisp and the leaves are starting to change. And on that bright note, it is Harvest Festival time again! Here’s a guide for those of you who are coming and a vicarious tour for our friends far away. Last year, over 5000 people over two days came to visit our tiny village. We’re gearing up for another huge crowd next weekend, the 24th & 25th of September …
